Reading for the clebration








His Majesty The 4th king. 
On 6th September, 2014, reading competition was conducted by the school literary coordinators to observe the nationwide reading competition and to pay our deepest tribute and warmly welcome for the 4thDrukGaylpo’s 60th birth anniversary.

Ranging from classes iv-x, with two participants, classes iv-viii were made to read their best articles in line with the criteria develop by literary coordinators; for the classes ix-x literary coordinators had made the participants to select the speech of their choice that was addressed by His Majesty The 4th Druk Gaylpo in various events.

The event was witnessed by all the members of the school, where some of the students showed their enthusiasm in reading.  When asked to the literary coordinator about the programme, he said, “The event was conducted to in calculate the reading skills and to build their confidence to stand the crowd and most importantly to celebrate the joyous of 4th Druk Gyalpo’s up-coming Birth day.”

Our Majesty the Forth King, born at the dawn of November 11, 1955  to Her Majesty Ashi Kelzang Choden Wangchuk and His Majestery, The Third Druk Gyalpo in DechenCholing Palace  profoundly and selflessly sacrifice for the welfare of the country and people of Bhutan.  

His Majesty is the founder of  the golden philosophy called”   Gross National Happiness” which enshrines and shower in the heart of every citizen of our country. With the developed philosophy of gross nation happiness our country has been able to make its name with other

countries.

Owing to the benevolent services of Fourth Druk Gyalpo, family of Bjishong Middle Secondary School heart fully thanked His Majesty, The 4th King of Bhutan by observing the reading competition as a small token of gratitude.
